Just wanted to let you know that my family had a wonderful time in Tamarindo. The house was fabulous. The service was fantastic. Negro did a wonderful job with our transportation and was very helpful to us thoughout the week and we are very grateful for his help. Maribel did a great job in keeping the house clean.
Again - Casa Colonial was one of the best vacation choices we have had and we thank you for everything.

Great value, lots of space.
Website pictures don't do any justice to the house it was very spacious. Walking to town is a short 10 min. walk but walking back is a different story, the house is located on a somewhat steep hill. A cab ride back will cost about $4-$5 but renting a vehicle is the way to go, it makes it a lot easier to get to the supermarket and such. The town is being develop very quickly, and you can experience monkeys hanging out on the trees outside the house, at the same time a couple of small field mice made their way inside the house, this being a huge no no in the States but taking our surroundings into consideration is to be expected. Great place!! I highly recommend it!!

If you would like a great laid back vacation where you pick what you would like to do then i would recomend tamarindo costa rica. Pueblo del mar is a excellent condo complex but small enough to make you feel at home. The mix of families and single couples makes it a great time with comraderie and a quietness, to relax around the pool or swap stories about exciting places to explore. A great security guard at night keeps you feeling secure. The town is quaint but a bit on the expensive side if you compare it to other areas, but very much worth it. There is a group of cattle you can expect to see taking a walk on the beach or enjoying the sights downtown while on their way to their favorite field.All in all it was jim's excellent adventure. Jim

Awesome Villa! We rented 3 villas for 15 people for my brother's wedding that was just down the road. The villas were amazing and had everything we needed and more. Love the open air showers. The location was a quick 20 min walk along the beach or on the roads to the main part of Tamarindo. We found it easy to catch a cab as well. The maintenance and cleaning staff was great and friendly. We had a couple very minor things that needed attention and they were addressed in a timely manner. I would definitely go back to this venue.
